Winter Training

Program Structure

Winter training is designed to keep our rowers in shape and prepare them to compete in the spring. We offer both morning and afternoon practice schedules. Each session will include a combination of rowing machine and/or weight workouts designed to build strength and endurance as well as improve rowing technique.

This program is open to both high school and adult rowers. Registration is limited to 16 people per session.

US Rowing Membership

Having a US Rowing membership is required for all rowers to be covered on our insurance plan. Returning rowers with a previous US Rowing membership will simply need to renew it and sign the insurance waiver once per year. New rowers without a US Rowing membership can easily sign up on their website. A basic membership is all that’s needed. If you’d like the monthly US Rowing Magazine and additional benefits, they also offer a championship membership.
